Dancers' Portraits Photo Gallery

Dancing brings joy and feeds the spirit. Combining dance and drawing is another one of my creative outlets. Hope you enjoy the portraits! 

This series of Dancers' portraits was inspired by many factors. I have more often worked with vivid colors but ballroom dancing for me has a dignified, deep elegance to it.  The classic elegance comes out more in black and white.   Even though dancing is about movement, often photographs capture moments in time. This is why dancers pay attention to 'lines'.
